Jason Nelson has a deep background in real estate as a developer, property manager and land use planner with over 12 years experience developing properties in the challenging Santa Barbara market. Jason has been the lead in the development in over 180 homes in the Santa Barbara/Goleta area as principal of the Oak Creek Company. He is President and founder of Nelson Planning a local development permit consulting business.

Jason was born and raised in Santa Barbara and graduated from UC Davis in 2000 with a degree in Urban Planning and Development. He has worked in commercial real estate in San Francisco and in residential real estate development in the bay area. He is married to his best friend Jaime Nelson and they have two active children. Jason is an avid golfer, masters swimmer and lover of all watersports.
